The Boxer's people forage the papery substance founds in the claustrophic nests of the giant golden-boned hornets. Shining with imperious light, paper made of the nest turns any writing on it from prophecy to fate.

Confrontations between hornets and invaders in the nest inevitably lead to the annihilation of the fragile paper, leading foragers to cultivate stealth. Unfortunately, the Boxer's bravado often left her scrapping wildly with hornets, leaving pitiful shreds of wasted treasure flapping on the hot winds.

After yet another disaster, she scrawled the number one on a speck of paper husk stuck to her bloodied fists.That is the moment, the Magnificent Contest of Fists came to be. Without hesitation, she raced to meet her destiny.



The Boxer's people forage the papery substance founds in claustrophobic nests of giant golden-boned hornets. Shining with imperious light, paper made of the nests center turns any writing on it from prophecy to fate.

Confrontations between hornets and invaders in the nest inevitably lead to the annihilation of the fragile paper maze, leading foragers to cultivate a unique combat style. Utilizing large soft gloves and sharp upper body movements, ruinous puncture damage was minimized while hornets were knocked out, preventing their death pheromone from sending the nest into a destructive frenzy.

A maze nest is only completed once a year and the people hold a tournament to determine the select elites whom will have the opportunity to carefully wander its layered halls boxing their way to riches and fame.

Note

The Boxer continues the collaboration between Adam & Lokman, exploring some well established tropes in fantasy art. Originally intended as a small line of Generic Hero Classes, the results were so compelling and un-generic, each hero's appearance told so many exciting stories that we wanted to integrate them into the KD world but so far nothing concrete has emerged.
